Measuring the Hubble constant using gravitational-wave signals from compact binaries, in combination with redshift information from galaxy catalogues, could be key to resolving the current Hubble constant tension. However, this method has only been applied to a few dozen gravitational-wave events so far.
This project will use advanced computational methods to scale this analysis to thousands of events and extend it to include more cosmological parameters, in preparation for future observing runs and third-generation detectors.
