Grant Description

This project aims to examine whether the effectiveness of economic and environmental appeal based campaigns in household energy use and the effect of frame on these campaigns.

It will also build upon previous research by measuring actual behaviour in addition to behavioural intentions and examining whether there are any changes over a period of 9 months.

It is hoped that conclusions drawn from this research could be used to advise how economic incentives are used by Energy Efficiency Scotland. Also conducting research into preferences for residential heating systems.
