This project will include the following activities:
- Dimuon decays of SM Higgs Analysis: This project will include many activities throughout the lifetime of the project. Examples would be validation of results with various other groups as well as providing event categorisation results for different Higgs boson production modes. This project is a large collaboration with may groups from other institutions working with ATLAS, hence it will include frequent collaboration mainly in the form of weekly meetings.
- ATLAS Qualification Task: Optimisation and calibration of Muon isolation working points. This project is to be split into two parts. The first part consists of focussing on optimising isolation working points including the analysis of using run 2 isolation working points for run 3 data. The second part will focus on the optimisation of a fitting strategy. This will also include the derivation of 2D scale factors.
