Society-environment interaction through innovative approaches, in order to advance knowledge on nature-society relations, how values embedded within these relations impact interpretations of justice, and implications on policy and practice.
The PhD project offers important new directions for research in geography including the opportunity to explore and develop multi-species justice as a transformative concept to rethink the ways that justice is conceived and adjudicated between humans and non-humans and how that creates challenges and opportunities for policy.
