Ieva will be working on high-energy gamma ray emission from active galactic nuclei, using data from the Fermi Large Area Telescope and, where available, from the current ground-based gamma-ray telescopes.
She will use these data, together with multiwavelength information, to gain insights into the likely production mechanisms of gamma rays in these objects and to make predictions for the Cherenkov Telescope Array.
