Effective Field Theory (EFT) is a model independent framework which allows us to search for heavy New Physics at the Large Hadron Collider. A lot of effort has been devoted towards improving theoretical predictions in the EFT to maximise our sensitivity to New Physics effects. The project aims to provide the first computation of electroweak corrections in the SMEFT, also implementing these in public tools to allow theorists and experimentalists to perform realistic simulations.
Another goal is to combine accurate SMEFT predictions with LHC data to constrain the operators through a robust global determinations. The findings, particularly if different from the SM expectations, will point to the scale and nature of NP. Finally we aim to explore new challenging proposals, such as i) the impact of operator running and mixing on EFT interpretations and ii) the prospects of measuring quantum observables at the LHC.
