Grant Description

The project will make use of RUn 2 data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider to perform novel measurements of Lepton Flavour Violation using top quark events. The project will make use of state-of-the art programming tools to analyse a big sample of data.

The student will also learn other important academic skills from spending some period of time at CERN on Long Term Attachment. During that time, the student will be trained in detector operations and will contribute to data-taking.
