This studentship will develop new selections for the classification of (anti)neutrino interactions in the near detector of the Tokai to Kamioka experiment.
Such samples are used to constrain systematic uncertainties associated with the flux and cross-section via a fit to data.
The fit results are used in the analysis of data from the far detector and the measurement of neutrino oscillation parameters. This project will also involve incorporating any new samples into the near detector fit and performing the fit
