The LUX-ZEPLIN direct dark matter search experiment offers the opportunity to test new and exciting extensions to the Standard Model of particle physics.
A number of candidates for dark matter such as axion like particles and leptophillic dark matter, and possible effective neutrinos magnetic moments or millicharges, would reveal their presence as an additional low energy electron recoil component in LUX ZEPLIN data. In this project we will search for such components.
