This project will investigate the transfer of information in a black hole background using semi-classical quantum field theory techniques.
The goal will be to understand how information is retrieved after falling into a black hole and how the interior of a black hole is actually encoded in the Hawking radiation emitted. The project will use a variety of techniques from quantum field theory, quantum information theory and string theory.
