Grant Description

Using the large number of top quark decays triggered and recorded by the ATLAS experiment, it is planned to measure the value of Vcb using the decays of on-shell Ws produced.

The analysis of data for such a novel measurement is already underway, and the student will contribute to further developments of the methodology to improve the analysis in the existing and/or future determinations using this approach.
