Grant Description

EPA collaborates with the World Health Organization (WHO) to develop training materials and to conduct training for health care providers in the prevention, diagnosis and management of environmentally-related illness in children in developing countries.

Support also enables WHO to promote the pediatric health unit model, manage the global indicators development for children's environmental health, and test integrated approaches to household environments for indoor air and clean water delivery in Africa.
