Grant Description

The purpose of this project is to support the development of domestic programs that promote the reduction of mercury in products.

Activities include conducting an analysis of mercury containing products to target for reduction and using the information to serve as the foundation for moving forward either with TSCA section 5 or 6 actions (knowing viable alternatives to mercury exist) or voluntary reduction programs. Funds will also be used to support Mercury Export Ban Implementation.
