Grant Description

United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP): This project supports the Partnership for Clean Fuels and Vehicles, which brings together a broad coalition of organizations to foster the widespread use of clean fuels and advanced vehicle emissions technologies.

The work under this agreement would go towards implemetning the 2007 Partnership Global Programme of Work on clean fuels and vehciles, including the global phase-out of lead in gasoline, support for sulfur reduction in fuels, and promotion of cleaner vehicle technology.

This agreement will provide support for knowledge dissemination and technology transfer for cleaner fuels and vehicles in developing and transitional countries.
