Grant Description

This project focuses on multiple program areas under the OECD Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Program, including work on industrial chemicals, pesticides, biocides, biotechnology and nanotechnology.

The OECD EHS Program works to ensure high quality chemical testing and evaluation, to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of chemical management, and to minimize non-tariff barriers to trade in chemicals and products containing chemicals.

OECD WGP also provides a forum to exchange ideas to facilitate and promote the development and implementation of risk reduction policies and practices in OECD countries; and to promote communication, collaboration, co-operation and understanding of risk management approaches among member countries.
