Grant Description

The Strategic Economic Dialogue (SED) was created by President Bush and President Hu Jintao in September 2006 as a forum for the United States and China to address economic challenges and opportunities at the highest official levels.

It provides an overarching bilateral economic framework between the two countries and promotes coordination among specialized initiatives. EPA participates in the SED through the Energy and Environment Group.
