Grant Description

The Emergency Poultry Disease Response and Regionalization (EPDRR) Symposium is designed to assist participants in understanding the elements of successfully planning for and responding to a poultry disease outbreak, including state/regional and national policies, dealing with live bird markets/backyard flocks, and incident command structure.

The VDLQA course is designed to provide veterinary laboratory and quality assurance professionals with skills that include direct involvement with laboratory quality assurance procedures, laboratory diagnostics, and biosecurity.

The course will allso incude modules related to laboratory management structure, and surveillance of wild birds and commercial poultry.
