Grant Description

This project includes five activities: 1) Risk based surveillance program for zoonotic coronaviruses including SARS-CoV-2 at the human-domestic-wildlife interface; 2) one health surveillance, risk analysis, and response to SARS-CoV-2 at the human-animal-wildlife interface including support to West Africa EpiX through a subgrant; 3) a subgrant to Texas A&M to support strengthening of veterinary health systems to facilitate trade; 4) prevent and mitigate the impact of emerging animal diseases with pandemic building capacity in African, Middle East, and Eastern Europe/Central Asia through a subgrant agreement with the Center for Animal Health and Food Safety; and 5) support to the WOAH's digital transformation to improve data collection and data management to ensure members have access to data.
