Grant Description
This request brought a CPHST National Science Leader to Colombia to work with the CPHST Colombia team in the development of plant pest mitigation projects.
The CPHST science leader evaluated these facilities during his visit and made recommendations for their appropriate use and improvement.
Critical guidance was shared with the CPHST Colombia team in the development and execution of their mitigation projects and to provide cohesion and interagency capacity through interactions with the staff of CPHST Colombia and the Colombia ministry.
His visit supported the mission of the US Embassy in Colombia to build US - Colombia economic exchanges and will safeguard US agriculture through the development of appropriate pest mitigation strategies. From 07/10/2011 to 07/23/2011.
