Grant Description

This project includes two courses hosted by the University of Delaware.

The first--Emergency Poultry Disease Response and Regionalization--will train U.S. and international professionals on managing potentially catastrophic poultry disease outbreaks.

The course includes preparedness planning, biosecurity and assessment tools, surveillance, and rapid response techniques and technology.

The second--Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory Quality Assurance--will cover an overview of quality assurance system requirements, the implementation and upkeep of a quality assurance system, records, document control, creating and revising standard operating procedures, corrective actions, audits and management reviews.
