Grant Description

From May 2-13, 2016, the participants, all trained veterinarians, were trained in epidemiological skills necessary to identify and manage disease outbreaks.

In addition, they learned skills in geospatial analysis necessary for establishing parameters to effectively control the outbreak and identify the risks associated with the outbreak.

Indian veterinarians receive little or no training in epidemiology therefore it is vital that they have the opportunity to train in the environment.
