An APHIS expert was requested by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to be one of the keynote speakers at the Foreign Animal Disease Laboratory in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Subject matter included equine encephalidites, Venezuelan Equine Encephalidites, Bluetongue and Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease, African Horse Sickness.
The audience was composed of front line veterinarians representing the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Meat Hygiene who are in feed lots, dairy barns, pig or poultry barns or various slaughter plants. From 01/25/2011 to 02/02/2011.
