APHIS epidemiologists conducted two Foot and Mouth Disease Epidemiology Trainings in Kazakhstan. This activity is part of USDA collaboration with DOD/DTRA. This course was conducted in Almaty and Astana the two principal cities in the coutnry. The training is expected to increase veterinary epidemiology skills among Kazakhstan veterinary officials.
