Grant Description

ATF Postblast Investigation Course; This course consists of 9 classroom days with hands-on practical exercises and a final practical field exercise.

The course of instruction covers: introduction to explosives; improvised explosive devices (IEDs); military ordnance; the ten-person team concept for postblast crime scene investigation and documentation; secondary devices; intelligence gathering; investigative techniques; forensic pathology; and laboratory services.
