Grant Description

On August 9, 2002, in Kampala, Chinese ambassador to Uganda Li Qiangmin, on behalf of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, handed over 50 sets of computers and the relevant accessories to Uganda's Minister of Education and Sports Edward Khiddu Makubuya. The computers will go to Makerere University and Mbarara University of Science and Technology to set up computer labs.
