Innovations in Mental Health Fund

\- Mental Health (MH), Data for Science and Health (DSH) and Translation & Portfolio Integration (TPI) have identified an opportunity to co-develop the first Europe-based venture capital fund partnered with the UK National Health Service (NHS) specialising in health technology investments in Mental Health (MH).

The ‘Innovation in Mental Health Fund’ would be a first of its kind investment vehicle, structured as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), and would bring together: - Wellcome as the anchor investor - KHP Ventures (“KHPV”), a joint venture between Guy’s and St Thomas’ Trust, King’s College Hospital Trust and King’s College London as the General Partner (GP), - The South London and Maudsley NHS Trust (SLaM) as the preferred service partner. - The Fund will provide targeted support to global early-stage companies (at pre- seed and seed stage) developing digital mental health assets and accelerate their progress by supporting product development and clinical evidence generation.
