Grant Description

The Regional Resilience Program (RRP) is founded upon a comprehensive development hypothesis and a set of strategic objectives.

The program will strengthen individual, household, organization, and formal and informal institutions and networks to deliver improved natural resource management and the adoption of sustainable agriculture practices.

Over a five-year period, the RRP aspires to achieve increased food security, income generation, improved water sanitation and hygiene, climate adaptive practices, better nutrition, improved conflict mitigation, and enhanced community resilience.

The RRP will ensure that the voices and participation of women, youth and other marginalized and underrepresented populations are integrated into all activities, recognizing their pivotal roles as catalysts for transformative change.

USAIDs RRP addresses these issues by empowering women and youth to become active contributors to their communities' development.
