Grant Description

The activity will partner with local actors to disrupt youth recruitment, substance abuse, and cycles of violence in Mexico by expanding effective reinsertion models and incorporating youth violence prevention public policies into the Government of Mexico (GOM) security plans.

It will support the GOM to strengthen and institutionalize the treatment, rehabilitation, and reintegration of vulnerable youth and youth offenders, with a focus on those vulnerable to substance abuse and recruitment by transnational criminal organizations (TCOs).
