The Tapajs for Life Activity will improve the conservation and sustainable use of protected areas in the Lower Tapajs River Basin located in the Brazilian Amazon, by strengthening community-based business management capacity, fostering access to financial mechanisms and market linkages for sustainable value chains; support the development of an integrated approach to community-based tourism in protected areas (PAs) and contribute to the reduction of potential conflicts in selected pas and indigenous lands (ILs) through participatory monitoring and planning.
