Grant Description

Through this project, doctors of the world (DOTW) aims to improve access to free comprehensive primary health care (PHC) services, including sexual and reproductive health (SRH), sexual gender-based violence (SGBV) services and management of acute malnutrition (AM), referral to higher levels of the health pyramid in androy and anosy regions, Madagascar.

The project proposed is the continuation of dotw's current activities funded by USAID/BHA (10th of June 2022 05th of June 2024) in the south of Madagascar.

Through dotw's efforts to strengthen phc, the project provides a complete and free services package and referral to higher-level care for the overall population (regardless of age, sex, ethnicity, disability, etc. ) of targeted villages. Hfs receive medical equipment according to their needs based on a prior evaluation.

These activities will be implemented in the following districts: bekily, amboasary-atsimo, ambovombe.
