New alima award for health, nutrition, and protection sectors in Chad (LAC) for $3 million IDA funds.
The goal is that if the various components of this project are implemented, then the impact of the humanitarian crisis on the health and nutritional status of the targeted populations will decrease, as well as the protection gaps.
This will reduce mortality among this population and improve their living conditions, as well as strengthen their resilience to face future crises.
The proposed intervention aims to reduce morbidity and mortality among displaced and host populations in Chad by providing a comprehensive package of preventative, curative, and promotional health and nutrition as well as protection services and a rapid response mechanism.
