Grant Description

Hhs affected by flooding in maradi and dosso regions live in dignified and secure shelters with their basic needs met CRS will work with local partner caritas development Niger (CADEV), which has extensive experience in emergency management, to focus on critical areas including shelter, non-food items (NFIS), multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA), and WASH.

This approach aims to provide a comprehensive response to key challenges while integrating community sensitization and capacity-building efforts to strengthen the resilience of affected populations in the maradi region, particularly in the departments of maradi city, guidan roumdji and madarounfa, and in the dosso region, particularly in the departments of doutchi and birnin gaour.

The project's overall objective is to improve the living conditions of 750 flood-affected hh in the maradi and dosso regions.

This will be achieved by providing safe and dignified shelter and meeting other immediate needs (wash and health) of flood-affected households.
