Feed the Future Mali Sugu Yiriwa

Feed the Future Mali Sugu Yiriwa will achieve its objectives through market systems approaches, emphasizing facilitation, negotiation and collaboration, and stakeholder engagement/advocacy.

We will focus on constraints to those market systems in the intervention area of the Activity that can be feasibly addressed, including those that prevent inclusion and equity for women and poorer/marginalized producer groups.

Although not designed to promote specific value chains, the Activity will at times focus on certain products or sectors.

Thus, supply and demand considerations (i.e., agricultural commodities that have growth potential from the perspective of production and output sales are accessible for women and poorer producers in the intervention area of Feed the Future Mali Sugu Yiriwa) will guide the prioritization and testing of new approaches.
