Grant Description

This award supports travel expenses and registration fees for invited speakers, undergraduate and graduate students, post-docs, and under-represented, female and junior faculty to attend and present at the symposium EQ01 'Progress in Thermoelectrics - From Traditional to Novel Materials' held as part of the Materials Research Society's 2022 Fall Meeting in Boston, November 27 to December 2, 2022. The meeting also has a virtual version scheduled for December 6-8.

This meeting will provide opportunity to exchange research results, network and discuss topics related to research and education in the area of thermoelectric materials.

This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
