Humanitarian Assistance

Funding to provide access to safe and climate-resilient drinking water points to reduce distance traveled to the water points and through water point rehabilitation and solarization, to strengthen operation and maintenance systems through equipping toolkits and capacitation of pump cater takers, pump minders and water point committees on community-based management and risk informed wash, adopt positive hygiene practices to increase participatory health and hygiene education (phhe) training for environmental health technicians (EHTS) and the ministry of women affairs and community-based facilitators, improve health and hygiene knowledge behaviors within communities through the establishment of community health clubs and global wash commemorations.
