Strengthening critical care capacity in low-resource settings: Expanding the WHO Emergency Care Toolkit to the full continuum of emergency and critical care

This project will help fill an important gap in critical care service delivery in low resource settings by creating a context-relevant critical care course that builds upon the existing WHO Basic Emergency Care Course, and by expanding the WHO Essential Resources for Emergency Care to include critical care.

This approach recognises the continuum that exists between emergency and critical care service delivery, and represents a novel approach of strengthening these platforms of care with this continuum in mind.
