Grant Description
USAID and the Natural Climate Solutions Division plan to develop a user-friendly, freely available, on-line tool to calculate Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and carbon storage associated with Agriculture, Forestry, and Other Land Use (AFOLU).
This tool, the updated AFOLU Calculator tool, will build off USAID's current AFOLU calculator tool, which was originally developed for USAID in 2012.
The tool will be used to facilitate required reporting through Agency approved portfolio management systems, etc. on standard USAID climate indicators, assist with activity planning, and align with the priorities of the USAID Climate Strategy.
