Grant Description

The activity is a kids-focused, multi-platform, nature broadcasting program that explores the breadth of biodiversity and related issues in East Africa.

It seeks to engage regional and local organizations in the areas of biodiversity, conservation, environment, education, youth engagement, media and technology.

It intends to advance locally relevant, quality educational entertainment (edu-tainment) that shares knowledge, skills and transformative practices to inspire children (age 6-13) to learn about the natural world and science and develop actions to protect the environment..More specifically, our programming seeks to help shape the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the next generation to be more aware of and protect the environment through peer-to-peer engagement on science, technology, nature, exploration, conservation, and wildlife.

The programming will develop a passionate community of young explorers and community leaders who are inspired to learn more about and protect the world.
