An Integrated Drug Discovery Consortium for NTDs (IDDC-NTD)

The long-term significance of the proposed IDDC-NTD will manifest in new treatment options for those suffering from neglected tropical diseases, particularly those in developing nations.

The IDDC-NTD will be propelled toward success by focusing Calibr’s drug discovery capabilities on neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), with a focus on accelerating timelines through enabling technologies to bring forward effective, affordable solutions to these unmet medical needs.

Where appropriate, we plan to leverage synergies and key learnings from work funded by BMGF, including considerable infrastructure and momentum for the IDDC-NTD as a result of a prior investment in global health research.

We envision several new drug candidates arising from the IDDC-NTD, which will be brought forward to market in the years to come, ultimately creating solutions for patients suffering from NTDs.
