Peace Corps experience in responding to the priorities of communities and nations allows it to be a key contributor to the whole-of- government Initiative.
The Digital Literacy for Womens Economic Empowerment partnership with USAID enables the Peace Corps to better prepare Volunteers to make contributions to goals and host country development needs, specifically related to womens digital and economic empowerment.
By combining Peace Corps grassroots presence and experience with USAIDs technical and financial resources, the initiative will impact a larger number of communities and achieve greater results.
The Peace Corps aims to better equip Volunteers to address womens digital and economic empowerment through a whole-of-government approach that allows USAID to extend the scope and scale of its digital inclusion and gender equity work while providing Peace Corps with the resources to properly support, monitor, and evaluate Peace Corps contributions to this initiative.
