Grant Description

Water Security and Resilience (WSR) Activity will be implemented in Niger and Burkina Faso as part of the Resilience in the Sahel Enhanced (RISE) II program and the Sahel Development Partnership (SDP).

WSR is an integral component of USAIDs RISE II program in Burkina Faso and Niger, designed to address the root causes of chronic vulnerabilitywhich is defined as an enduring susceptibility to the effects of constant and cyclical external shocks on life and livelihoods, resulting in persistent food and water insecurity.
