Grant Description

In August 2002, the Chinese Government agreed to provide the Government of Zambia with 7,780 metric tons of fertilizer worth RMB 20 million (about USD $2.5 million).

Zambia’s Foreign Minister Kalombo Mwansa and China’s Ambassador to Zambia Peng Keyu attended the agreement signing ceremony. The handover ceremony occurred on September 16, 2003.
