Health Systems Strengthening Accelerator (HSSA)

The Health Systems Strengthening Accelerator (HSSA) is a 5-year global project.

It will provide a global platform to connect locally-driven health system innovations with global knowledge, accelerate countries' journeys to self-reliant health systems, and improve the institutional architecture for evidence-based and sustainable health system strengthening.

This project will address persistent health systems problems at the local and global levels through understanding of problems and root causes; evidence translation; innovation and iterative adaptation; understanding of motivation, incentives, and political dynamics; and focusing on institutionalization and sustainability.
