Grant Description

This activity will support health sector reforms, enhance transparency, and tackle corruption to build an effective healthcare system that is capable of meeting the health needs of the Ukrainian people through improved access to and availability of high-quality, evidence-based healthcare services.

In addition to reducing sector corruption as a cross-cutting theme, this activity aims to achieve the following objectives: 1) improving health sector governance through strengthened MOH leadership and stewardship; 2) implementing a new healthcare financing model based on efficiency, competition, and choice; 3) strengthening the healthcare workforce; 4) enhancing the transparency, accountability, and responsiveness of the healthcare system; 5) bolstering support for healthcare reform efforts through effective and targeted information and communication; and 6) improving service delivery systems at all levels...This activity contributes ICS 2.1 and JRS 4.2.

This activity is coordinated with other Inter-agency-funded activities as well as with the Embassy's Health Cluster Working group.
