Grant Description
The USAID DRC-funded Electoral Integrity Activity will increase the integrity and transparency of the 2018 elections in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Resources will be used to build the capacity of the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) to administer more professional and efficient elections.
The activity will also deploy international observers to monitor and analyze the electoral environment, as well as support domestic observation groups to provide improved oversight of the electoral process.
With this coordinated approach, the activity seeks to contribute to more transparent, inclusive, and credible elections in the DRC.
