Cooperative Development Program (CDP) - Global Communities

Through the CDP APS mechanism and in support of locally-led development, E3/LS will provide funding to Global Communities to implement cooperative development activities in Kenya.

Specifically, Global Communities will support the adoption and implementation of cooperative law at the county-level, advance research on behavior change and build capacity of local service cooperatives.

Additionally, Global Communities will promote inclusion of marginalized communities by focusing on increased access of quality resources tailored with youth and gender considerations.

These field-based activities build the capacity of local, democratic institutions and advance the Agency's objectives of local resource mobilization and self-reliance.
