Cooperative Development Program (CDP) - Cooperative Resources International

Through the CDP APS mechanism and in support of locally-led development, E3/LS will provide funding to Cooperative Resources International (CRI) to implement cooperative development activities in South Africa and Peru.

Specifically, Cooperative Resources International will work with local agricultural cooperatives to improve their management practices, governance and capitalization strategies for increased focus on self-reliance.

Additionally, CRI will provide mentoring on farm management for improved agriculture and animal husbandry methods to ensure higher productivity and profitability of local partners.

These field-based activities build the capacity of local, democratic institutions and advance the Agency's objectives of local resource mobilization and self-reliance.
