Grant Description

The Partnership for Inclusive Agricultural Transformation in Africa (PIATA) Global Development Alliance is a 5-year, partnership, between USAID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), the Rockefeller Foundation (RF), and the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) that seeks to catalyze and sustain an inclusive agricultural transformation for 11 countries in Africa to increase incomes and improve the food security of 30 million smallholder farm households.

The estimated duration of the activity is September 2017 - September 2022. The implementation instrument is a new cooperative agreement with mission buy-in capacity.
