This USAID supported intervention will make significant impact to ongoing education activities in a very difficult situation across the country.
Providing continuous support to bridge critical gaps in the Education Response to the crisis, the activity targets the most vulnerable, affected children with particular focus on areas with IDP children.
This project restores access and re-entry to basic education with UNICEF and the Ministry of Education (MoE) through Back-to-School Programs (60,000 students are receiving school bags and basic learning supplies), support to administer year-end exams Grade 9 and 12, a Safer School project (planned for 11 governorates), minor physical rehabilitation of schools (200 schools), self-learning (15,000 students targeted) and psychosocial support.
