Grant Description

The objective of SEOP is to strengthen civil society, the private sector, and other stakeholders, to contribute to public discourse and in the process of analyzing, developing, and implementing effective policies and programs related to four key development topics: food security; agriculture sector development; environment and conservation; and competitiveness and the business enabling environment.

SEOP will focus on the following four components: (i) establish a Sustainable Economic Observatory; (ii) support analysis, advance discussion, and disseminate information on policies, programs, strategies, and legislation; (iii) build capacity of civil society organizations and their constituents to contribute to public discourse on key development topics; and (iv) provide objective information to GOG officials, lawmakers, and political and social leaders to inform policy making.
